Yup - still nothin'.

Bored? Me too. This part of the process can take four months or longer.

I'm waiting it out though, because I've pretty much given this agency an exclusive. They don't know that, but they're big enough to warrant one without saying. Plus, if I tell them that they have an exclusive that they didn't ask for, I look like an overeager pain in the ass.

In other news, I've started to really get into my next story. I have the outline started, and the first third is pretty much set. The next two thirds are started, but need polishing. At first, I didn't like where this one was going, but it's starting to come together nicely. This way, I have something to tell any prospective agent when/if they ask what's next for me.

Like I said before, if this agency doesn't work out, it's time to put many irons in the fire. (Don't worry - I don't put cliches like that in manuscripts. I avoid them like the plague ;-) )
