Zzzzzz

So out of the 4 snail queries, two rejected, one agent moved (as I learned from a polite letter from the agency), and one MIA.

As for the agent that moved, I'll query her, but I'm still going to query the agency that she moved from. What the hell.

What a humbling experience. My first two queries got full reads, now I can't get past the query.

By the way... Merry Christmas. And if you're offended by the term 'Christmas', please go bend over and find a creative place for a rather large candy-cane. Or something.

My first snail mail rejection(s)!

Monday, sent out the snail queries. Thursday got two SASEs back with pleasant form-letter rejection goodness. But they were at least hand-signed. Aww, thanks.

BTW, if you're counting at home, the rejection letters must have been sent out the day they received them. Man, I feel so honored that people feel so obligated to reject me so quickly and promptly. See the respect I command?

Oy, I'm wondering if the query needs revamping. Nah, gonna stick to my guns. Let's play the law of averages. Someone will like it.

Four snail queries sent out.

Let's see if it gets any better when they HAVE to respond. Not much, just the form letters are on paper instead of in an email. But at least they usually respond.

This is getting tiring alread. Don't they know it's a freakin' bestseller? It's just WAITING to get scapped up.

Hello?

pff pff pff

Is this thing on?
